Summer is a portrait, editorial and advertising photographer who is also a brand consultant and creative director on campaigns. As an independent creative she enjoys variety in her projects but focuses on breaking down barriers by photographing subjects reshaping reality and working with companies who want to make bold statements and changes.
She calls San Francisco’s Mission District home where she lives with her two cats, Ziggy and Major Tom, her extremely hot husband and is soon to be a mom. She’s traveled extensively. Backpacking through South America, getting lost in Europe and Mexico City is currently her favorite city in the world (“so much artist expression and innovation going on there”).
Due to Covid she’s kept her feet respectfully on the ground but has plans for many personal projects including documenting a homeless project in Oregon, digging up and finding local artists in the saturated San Francisco cityscape, and doing a portrait series on ageism.
